Creative Cariri from March 14 to 16 with an emphasis on International Women's Day
The Creative Entrepreneurs Fair, Cariri Criativo, took place this weekend from March 14 to 16, at Largo da RFFSA in Crato. Araripe Geopark is a partner of the project and participates in the editions of the fair on Thursdays and Fridays, which occur monthly in the second week of the month.
In March, Creative Cariri fair brought the theme of women's day, highlighting those that are not fragile, the fair recalls the flame of daily struggle when you are a woman. Geopark has invited FIBRART, one of its partners, to showcase their work at the fair of the creative economy.
FIBRART, an association of artisans from Missão Velha - CE, started in 2008 from a need to implant a group of people working with handicrafts. Partnerships and the improvement of the work with innovations of courses, mini-courses and workshops came to work with a type of raw material: the banana fiber in which the artisans of the association saw an immensity of uses, ideas and innovations with the fiber.

Arajara Park Stage of Araripe Geopark and Cariri Extremo Race Circuit
Araripe Geopark will hold on May 18 and 19 the Araripe Geopark and Cariri Extremo Race Circuit - Arajara Park Stage. Entries began on March 20 and will run until April 18. To make the registration the athletes must access the link: https://cronoscariri.com.br/eventos/circuito-de-corridas.
On May 18 will be the delivery of kits in Arajara and on May 5 there will be two races: Trail Run leaving at 5:30 in the morning and Mountain Bike (MTB) at 8 o'clock in the morning. The athletes will get a shirt, kit bag, chip and free entrance with companion and child up to 1 meter.
The modalities will be Trail Run with distances of 5km, 12.5km and 20km and MTB of 35km and 65km. The registration fees vary according to the sport, as follows:

XI Andanças Culturais conducts Accessibility Trail at Geossítio Riacho do Meio
The Andanças Culturais Project of the Tutorial Education Program of the Course of Administration of the Universidade Federal do Cariri (PETADM-UFCA) will perform on the day 12/04 the XI Edition of the project, in the Geossítio Riacho do Meio in Barbalha. At the time of 07h to 12h, having as target public the deaf community of UFCA and, differentiating themselves from the other editions of the project, because this is the Special Edition, entitled Andanças Acessibilidade.
Araripe Geopark has partnered with the Andanças Culturais Project, which aims to propose guided itineraries for places that referring historical, political, memorials, economic, social and cultural facts of the Cariri region. Instigating the preservation and transfer of acquired knowledge and proposing the interconnection of the academic community with the patrimonial memory of our region.
There will be a trail promoted by Geopark trying to explore in a different way elements of perception for the deaf audience, mediated by Rafael Soares (member of Geoconservation sector Geopark). In Addition to workshops-painting of leaves, manakim in the skin and clay in beauty adapted to this audience, ministed by the Environmental Education team. The action will be assisted by the interpreters of the Department of Accessibility of the UFCA (SEACE/UFCA) to mediate this communication between the deaf and the listeners.
After this edition will happen, on Day 17/04, an event in a Conversation Wheel format to discuss the experience of this edition. And there will be a new cycle, with other geossites and new audiences.
Throne's replica of the the serie Game of Thrones in display at the Creative Cariri.
Iron Throne of the so-acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones (GOT) will be on display from April 11th to 14th at the Creative Cariri Fair, the replica of the throne was created by the artist Francisco dos Santos, from Shanadú Ateliê School.
Fans of the series are eager to launch the eighth season that will be released on Sunday (14). They were placed by the production of HBO 6 thrones scattered around the world, among them in the United Kingdom, Sweden and Spain, besides the Brazilian throne that is on the beach of Beberibe in Ceará.
The plot of the series tells the story of a land in Medieval Europe, in Westeros, where the winter seasons last for years or even decades. And The plot revolves around two families fighting for the control of the Iron Throne, which will ensure the survival of the winner during the coming winter.
Oficinas ministradas no Geopark Araripe diretamente com artista do Seridó-RN
A feira de empreendedores criativos, Cariri Criativo, aconteceu neste final de semana de 14 a 16 de março, no Largo da RFFSA em Crato. O Geopark Araripe é parceiro do projeto e participa das edições da feira nas quintas e sextas, que ocorrem mensalmente na segunda semana do mês.
No mês de março, a feira Cariri Criativo trouxe como tema o dia das mulheres, enaltecendo aquelas que de frágil não tem nada, a feira reascende a chama da luta diária quando se é mulher. O Geopark trouxe como convidado para a edição desta feira, a FIBRART, um de seus parceiros, para exibir seu trabalho na feira de economia criativa.
A FIBRART, associação de artesãos de Missão Velha – CE, começou em 2008 a partir de uma necessidade de implantar um grupo de pessoas trabalhando com artesanato. Vieram parcerias e o aperfeiçoamento do trabalho com inovações de cursos, minicursos e oficinas e passaram a trabalhar com um tipo de matéria-prima: a fibra de bananeira em que os artesãos da associação viram uma imensidão de utilidades, ideias e inovações com a fibra.
